Jara is six years old, and had been in three homes before going into rescue. It quickly became clear that Jara loved people, and her calm nature shone through.

 

Jara also works alongside Charis in therapy with young people in the NHS, and does voluntary work with Therapy Dogs Nationwide.

 

When Jara isn’t working she loves dog agility,  sausages and sleeping on the bed.

Sully is four years old, and came from the RSCPA. Despite a tough start in life, he has the friendliest nature, and adores people.

 

He is finishing his training to be used in equine assisted therapies, and we hope he will soon start working alongside us in sessions. 

​

When Sully isn't training, he enjoys spending time with best friend Mac and napping in the sunshine. 

Paddy is a seven year old Shetland pony, and is cheeky, affectionate and loves people. Paddy came to Graveney Equine with his brother Rupert after no one had wanted to buy them at a horse sales, and Lauren was worried about what would happen to them. They fitted into the herd right away, and get on with all of the horses, big and small. 

 

Paddy enjoys sleeping, playing and following humans around in the hope of a cuddle.

Wilma is 14 years old, and is the biggest in the therapy horse team at 16hh. She is a sensible lady, and doesn't stand for any nonsense from the young ones! Despite her size she is very gentle, and really enjoys human company. 

 

When Wilma isn't working she enjoys doing horse agility with her owner Lauren, eating and having deep thoughts.

Jasper is 14 years old, and is such a friendly soul, he gets on with absolutely everyone in the herd and is very playful. 

​

Jasper came to Graveney Equine unexpectedly after being suddenly returned from a loan home after being found in very poor conditions. His owner was struggling to find somewhere to keep him and so he came to Graveney Equine eight years ago and the rest is history.  

​

When Jasper isn't working he loves to play, and is usually found as one of the group running around! 

Mac is four years old, and is also finishing his training to be a part of equine assisted therapies, and we hope he will begin working with us soon. He has a very kind and gentle nature, and really enjoys human company. 

​

When Mac isn't training he loves eating his breakfast, playing with his best friend Sully, and getting scratches from humans.
